The Mexican hottie had no more than just a few
moments to spare for the Bollywood beauty queen. It’s not usual for a foreign
actress to create more news in Bollywood than some of its desi beauties. Be it
her flaming chemistry with co-star Hrithik Roshan in Kites , or her insistence
on Hrithik smooching, instead of just kissing, her in a scene in the film,
Barbara Mori has been the subject of many a scoop from B-town. Now, the Mexican
brunette has done something unexpected. She reportedly cold-shouldered Aishwarya
Rai when the two ladies met briefly at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival in the
south of France.
Barbara is at the fest to unveil ‘Kites’ along with
Hrithik, director Anurag Basu and producer Rakesh Roshan .Ash is there as the
ambassador of a cosmetic brand with hubby Abhishek Bachchan .Incidentally,
Barbara, Hrithik, Ash and Abhi are staying at the same hotel – Hotel Martinez.
Since Hrithik, Ash and Abhi are very close to each other (having worked in Dhoom
2 and Jodhaa Akbar ), it was natural for them to meet and mingle at the fest.But
Ash’s meeting with Barbara wasn’t as cordial as expected.
Reports say when Barbara met Ash, she just said a
brief “hello” and quickly excused herself, saying she had to rush to an event.
Now Ash, who’s used to adulation, would not have expected this from Barbara. But
later Hrithik reportedly explained to Ash why Barbara couldn’t spare time for
her.
